I’ve only said that imo one needs a central authority (not necessarily the state) if one wants to adjust the amount of money with the economic cycles. I’ve also said that one would need the state simply because otherwise there would be new laws to prohibit the alternative money as soon as it is successful enough to be a threat to the states money monopoly.
