I&#039;ve only said that imo one needs a central authority (not necessarily the state) if one wants to adjust the amount of money with the economic cycles. I&#039;ve also said that one would need the state simply because otherwise there would be new laws to prohibit the alternative money as soon as it is successful enough to be a threat to the states money monopoly.
